{"id":244,"date":"2024-09-17T14:00:46","date_gmt":"2024-09-17T14:00:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cta.org.co\/water-proof\/?p=244"},"modified":"2024-09-17T14:00:47","modified_gmt":"2024-09-17T14:00:47","slug":"captura-y-utilizacion-de-carbono-mas-que-una-tecnologia-de-eliminacion-de-carbono","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cta.org.co\/water-proof\/captura-y-utilizacion-de-carbono-mas-que-una-tecnologia-de-eliminacion-de-carbono\/","title":{"rendered":"Captura y utilizaci\u00f3n de carbono \u00a1M\u00e1s que una tecnolog\u00eda de eliminaci\u00f3n de carbono!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La captura y utilizaci\u00f3n de carbono (CCU) describe un conjunto diverso de tecnolog\u00edas que permiten la captura y el uso de di\u00f3xido de carbono (CO\u2082) como materia prima renovable para productos esenciales como combustibles, productos qu\u00edmicos y materiales de construcci\u00f3n, que hoy en d\u00eda se derivan predominantemente de recursos f\u00f3siles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las emisiones de CO\u2082 pueden capturarse directamente del aire (captura directa del aire, DAC, por sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s) o de fuentes puntuales. En este \u00faltimo caso, los sectores con altas emisiones, como la producci\u00f3n de cemento, la incineraci\u00f3n de residuos y el tratamiento de aguas residuales, son especialmente adecuados como fuentes puntuales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las estimaciones prev\u00e9n que el 21 % de las reducciones de GEI de las tecnolog\u00edas provendr\u00e1n de la captura directa del aire, lo que reducir\u00e1 las emisiones de CO\u2082 en aproximadamente 250 Mt en la UE para 20502, y que la capacidad total de producci\u00f3n de nuevos productos basados en CO\u2082 aumentar\u00e1 de 1,3 Mt por a\u00f1o en 2022 a 6 Mt por a\u00f1o en 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De esta manera, la tecnolog\u00eda de CCU contribuye a una econom\u00eda circular en la que las emisiones al final de la vida \u00fatil de un producto se capturan nuevamente y se utilizan para fabricar nuevos productos. En combinaci\u00f3n con soluciones de base biol\u00f3gica y reciclaje, CCU puede contribuir a un futuro sin combustibles f\u00f3siles.
